“I HATE GERMANTOWN” is Stacey Kelleher’s second single of 2024 that anyone who's had a part of town ruined for them will relate to. Co-written by Kelleher, Chandler Brown, Leah Colon, and Savannah Walters at a writer’s retreat in November 2023, Stacey tells the story of how she can’t be in a Nashville neighborhood without being reminded of a heartbreak. Co-produced by Kelleher and Alex Fansel at Red Shed Sound in Nashville, the track blooms with shiny pedal steel, ghostly background vocals, soft synthesizers, and a full-band sound that enters later in the song.
